I can't facking wait to see Bellerin back in the side.
Someone who can actually move without the ball.
Someone with the initiative to move into empty space and offer an outlet.
Someone who doesn't spend 90 minutes on the pitch without barely breaking into a jog.
I know having Bellerin back won't change things overnight, but feck me, that was terrible from the lads today.
I've never seen a fresher set of players at the end of 90 minutes of football.
Bellerin.

The Kieran Tierney thing is strange. I can only assume that Emery thinks that his best chance of Champions League next season is to win the Europa and he's saving KT for that.
I spoke to the lad on a visit to Scotland last weekend and he is fit and raring to go.
Is Emery trying to get himself sacked?
I've said it on here loads of times...he's a complete dud of a manager.

Magnum, as much as we admire the player for obvious reasons, we know only too well when managers keep picking their favorites ahead of all reasonable judgement

I get that....so the question is why he spent £25m on him if he intended to keep playing the Keystone Cops in defence?

£25m to them is equivalent to us spending £2m on Greg Taylor.
Think you need to let it go before these Arsenal fans think we support them

My tinfoil hat has always made me suspect that Emery has never really had a say in the players we buy.
The club changed his role into that of a mere "Head Coach", and then brought in about half a dozen other suits to fill up all the other roles of an old school "Manager".
A perfect recipe for anyone with an ounce of an independent streak to feel slighted and embark on a series of petty power plays.

I figured he might actually be believing his own 3rd place hype and figured he’d stick with his ‘winning’ formula.

Tierney did just have a double hernia op during the summer.I personally wouldnt rush him bk into the team but a game against Sheffield United would have been a nice start to PL football imo.

I can understand why he isnt starting Bellerin. Why he isnt starting Tierney is beyond belief. He gave him another two weeks of training during the international break. This was an important game for us. Why he didnt play him is not understandable.

The op was more than 6 months ago.
