To be fair to Arsenal, it took a good few seasons at the Emirates before the novelty wore off and attendances started dipping
9,000 empty seats at the Lane

I take it this CFC under a new name?
Anyway I think on this occasion you are turning your guns on the wrong target. We had 2.5k more than City and although I can't get an exact figure I'm told Atlanta had a very healthy away support.
We have had a wretched start to the season and there were a handful of away fans in the ground so I would suggest that anything over 50k wasn't bad.
These things can be spun however you like. For example you can correctly say 9k empty seats and I can correctly say 12k more than Chelsea had against Valencia. Either way its the result that really matters.

the attendance last night was at least 5-10k more than i expected for that kind of fixture, because of the lack of away fans it was a good attendance considering spurs actually count through the door tickets as capacity rather than just those sold like arsenal and west ham do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you only expect to get 40-odd K for CL games in a new stadium, which you owe £500m for for
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maths not your strong point
Still 52,000 more at Spurs' Champions League game than at West Hams. Earning £3m to £4m in matchday revenue and £10m from UEFA just for turning up on the night!

Which basically spurs season in a nutshell- just turning up!!!

And this is on our board because?
Don’t give two hoots about attendances
In our case our fans are brilliant and we always will have good attendances
Ah I see you noticed our beautiful stadium 😂

and we're still above West Ham
jokes aside, this is true,at times it looks like we're going through the motions, which i think is a reflection of the mindset of a few of our wantaway players. NO doubt we will improve over the season especially when the new signings start to make an impact

Agree that you will improve and be top 4.
That's why I don't understand your fans' negativity. Empty seats can't help players

52k attended.
3k away fans banned.
So about 6k of empty home seats. Basically 90% full.
Not exactly going to give the impression of being empty, and nor is it a poor turn out on a tuesday evening vs minnows!
