Aside chelsea and maybe city, the teams played were tiny with a fraction of ol budgets, big wins should have been routine. City and Chelsea result the most impressive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you can only play whats put in front of you baz.
Fyi this is a PL CL thread baz, no EL resentment required
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No resentment, you all did well. Simply stating facts, not exactly a level playing field.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so city's budget is comparable with Atlanta's
and any other PL team bar manu's
you've had a shocker here mate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said it was.
Atalanta are a decent enough team, better than genk or red star. That’s why it was a decent result, the pick was Chelsea though they have far more resources than Ajax.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you referenced budget in your original post but failed to mention city and their billion pound spend
did you get interrupted or something, I'm giving you the benefit of doubt here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, simply put: all ol team ms who played have huge budgets. The opposition had a fraction of that, some more than others, ergo big wins to be expected.
Then you have quality of opposition, Ajax, Atalanta, genk then red star. I simply stated that I found the city and Chelsea results most impressive because of the opposition. All results were impressive, no doubt, but given the gulf in budgets, to be expected.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
keep digging ladyou can just can't bring yourself to say it can you
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Say what? Well done? I already have, seems education in Liverpool ain’t a priority. Learn to read..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
say what, you referenced budgets and called out cities and chelsea's results when they have spent billions under the current owners
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus Christ. Pranks are you just 1000 monkeys bashing on a ja6 typewriter eventually to get it right at some stage? I’ll wait til then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so your sticking with your original statement
"Aside chelsea and maybe city, the teams played were tiny with a fraction of ol budgets, big wins should have been routine. City and Chelsea result the most impressive."
After city spending over a billion
Come on Baz just admit it you made a mistake
