There have been a few times I thought Facebook was listening. But it might be they are just very intuitive in terms of predicting behaviour

Yeah. Could be. But some of the stories you hear when somebody has talked about a really obscure product, which has then appeared seem compelling.

A woman at work reckons cookies are a great thing. She maintains that if you're shopping online you should find what you want, put in the shopping cary and then log off. Within 48/72 hours you'll be bombarded with ads wanting to sell it to you at a cheaper price.

Never tried it so can't comment in whether it works or not.
