Dropped to the bench after the ajax game for pulisic which you can't really argue about after what pulisic did yesterday. Personally I'd have liked to see Willian drop the the bench and CHO start on the right. It seemed to me like he was trying very hard to make a positive impression after coming on, probably thinking about his place in the starting line up etc, but this pressure I think played a part in the penalty appeal. Personally I felt like he did go down easy and hopefully lampard does have a word with him like he said post match. CHO doesn't really strike me as that sort of player but I think the occasion got to him and even worse after his booking I think the boo boys in the stands got to him. Just a slight observation but I really hope it's not that easy to put him off his game. I know he's only young but he needs to use sort of thing to fire him up not drag him down.

For me if you are pushed when on the move at a decent pace its done for one reason...to make you lose your balance...therefore its a clear intentional foul...i don't get how some admit there was a push but then say it was not a penalty....clear penalty for me and no way a yellow card

If that push was enough to send him down he needs to do some intensive work on his balance in training asap ..... it was a dive.
Players have grown so used to going down at the slightest contact it must be a reflex, Burnley players do it all the time to win indirect free kicks (though that's definitely tactical).
Dyche is indeed a kant though. Proven hypocrite.

DA have you ever been moving at pace and then shoved in the back? If so, how easy did you find it to not lose your balance or stumble, i cal tell you from my own personal experience, the very least that will happen is that you will stumble forward, sometimes after that you can keep going sometimes you just fall over, it is impossible not to be affected by the push

I'd have to watch it again but the contact didn't seem nearly bad enough to bring him down. Only he'd know for sure but it definitely wasn't a penalty, if an opposition player went down like that and won a penalty I'd be raging.

To be fair...Willian has been exceptional of late...Frank has got him interested & tracking back, he's suddenly a team player again...I suspect it's because he has a decent amount of genuine ball playing footballers around him again

Dyche was just desperately trying to deflect from the fact that his team got battered senseless for most of the game until the end when our players switched off at 4-0 up.
Everyone is talking about and getting excited about Cho and his potential so of course Dyche trying to claim that Cho is a diver will get some attention. It's definitely a low blow from Dyche and epitomises why he'll never manage a club any bigger than Burnley.

Feck Dyce. I'd have more respect for him if he criticised the filthy fouls his players commit Barnes on Matic is still fresh in my mind. CHO was pushed at speed. It's a pen according to the law of football. Where does it say you can place your hands on other players. Anywhere else on the pitch and a foul would be given. Contact should be with body and shoulder nothing else. Games fecked when VAR can't see what happened.

Out of interest Devil, have you seen the video close up from the angle that shows a Burnley's player 'Helping CHO on his way', so to speak?
Like Biggish, I'm struggling to comprehend this opinion that the pundits have been plugging that, yes he was pushed but no it wasn't a penalty.
The two statements share no correlation with each other; never in all the years I've been watching football has it been in the laws of the game to place your hands on someone and push them, as Bov has already said.
It's either, he wasn't pushed and therefore not a penalty OR he was pushed and it was a penalty and there is no grey area as far as I'm concerned. Video evidence shows he was pushed, so therefore there should only be one conclusion.
However it's not the non award of the penalty that irks me about this incident but rather having to watch Dyche tarnish someones reputation in public and be allowed to get away with it.
As far as I'm concerned, having watched CHO over the last two or three years, he's one of the more honest players out there, who will now carry the stigma of being a cheat. In my opinion the football authorities should make Dyche issue a public apology.

Just watched it again to see if I missed anything. It's still incredibly soft to me. One of those one's that could've been given I guess but if it was reversed I'd be very disappointed. I also don't like seeing the player angle their fall in the refs direction which CHO did, shows he's instinctively looking to win the foul (whether it's legit or not).
Sean Dyche is a spanner, I'm not gunna argue with that. Diving is wrong but potentially career ending tackles are "coming together's". He's an idiot, his opinion is irrelevant.
