I was there when the garden opened to the public today. It is typical of the standards of excellence of our club that they managed to create it in such a short space of time. It will look magnificent in a couple of years when the newly planted shrubs and trees come to maturity. The atmosphere was quiet, sombre and respectful. I managed to have a chat with "Pipes" who was there with the Radio Leicester team. A really lovely guy.
And there were hot drinks provided for all the visitors, in the east stand.
I love my club, which I have supported through all its ups and downs since 1967.

I’ve seen a picture of it. It seems very peaceful. As you say, excellent job from the club once again.
I hope to get down there soon myself for a proper look.

Nice one KP.... I was born in '67 lol.
Is there a way to post a link to pics as it is not so easy for me to nip down there? Please...
RIP The Boss.

It's hard to get a good perspective on it unless you are actually there, but this link gives some photos.

The whole thing is in a square which is about 30 yds by 30 yds.

A very fitting tribute from all involved.
I'm sure Top appreciates this gesture from everybody. It will help him also.
