We just let them come onto us and did nothing about it. We should have killed them off long before, and the fact that they ran us so close at the end does not bode well for the future. We are one of the most complacent teams in the league when we've got a comfortable lead and completely lack that killer instinct needed. It didn't cost us today but will in the future, not really that happy to be honest, same old.

vdvisgod... youre a hard man my friend.
today was the kind of game that spurs in years gone by would have come unstuck.
look at last year .. we could only manage a 0-0.
with everyone else winning today, the points are all that matter.

I'm giving no credit to Wigan for their second half performance.
I give up.

no Dawn im sorry I dont. I think its being too harsh. You cant just judge football like this there are too many ifs and buts. It takes sometimes as little as 1 man in a prominent position in the team to slack off by a tiny percentage and things can change.
There is no way we can play a whole season at our very best and to criticise for every time we dont hit 100% even if we win I just think its too harsh.

We let them come onto us, that's the reason they were able to play better, because WE allowed them to. It was our fault, you think their average 2nd rate players just magically upped their game and dominated us in the 2nd half after being destroyed for 45 minutes before then? Use your head! If we played in the same manner, we'd have won by 4 or 5.

Give it up vdv,I know what you're saying. Somebody said about 10 man Blackburn losing but 10 man Chelsea scored 2 after the sending off so I didn't see the point he was making. The principle is a convincing performance and score line and our score line wasn't convincing. Bye,must go and catch you all later.

Sorry mate but how can you not be happy? 3 wins on the trot and we actually deserved to win today with our 1st half complete dominance. Wigan didn't even trouble us today apart from 1 or 2 efforts.......what so they not allowed to have any chances at home now????? The fact of the matter is we could and should of had the game wrapped up at Half time and we did make things a bit hard for ourselves in the 2nd half but in all i was very happy with the performance and win

You're all to blame for biting. This negative dirge now has +60 comments, my wonderful diva inspired 'reasons to be cheerful' piece left with 4.

Sorry for being a bit harsh, but that was way too stressful than it should have been, just need time to cool down a bit. I am happy with the win, of course, but just a bit angry with the 2nd half.
...................................................
You're lucky not to be a Real Madrid fan then. Otherwise you would've been angry with both halves against Racing Santander Hope you're getting the point...

btw, just saw the stat that says Wigan weren't beaten at home since February. That says it all, really.
