Two days to go to another chapter in an often tempestuous East Midlands Derby. The record stands at 41 Reds wins to 39 for the Rams. Forest currently hold the Brian Clough Trophy having retained it with two home victories against the Rams this calendar year. The last was a 3-0 thumping in the League Cup. Prior to that it was a fiercely battling 1-0 back in March. Can the Reds record three home wins in a calendar year against the old rivals?
Both recorded victories against strugglers last weekend so are entering into the game on the up. Both sides appear to be compete opposites with Forest having enjoyed some great away form whilst Derby seem to enjoy their home comforts more. Lots will be made of the off field issues which have blown up at PP this season. Won’t matter much come 12.30pm as both teams know they have to have their heads in the right place to deal with what is likely to be another lively atmosphere down at the CG, even with the game kicking off at lunchtime.
Will it be many happy returns for Sabri it will Cocu get the result that takes some pressure off him?...
It’s the Reds v the Rams. Bring it on!.

It’s true that the other sides are under-performing. The missing trio of Dawson, Semedo and Sow has affected our results also. I don’t think we’d lost a game when Sow is fit.
A shame he’ll miss this one, but Yates filled in well against Luton.
After the international break all three should return and all of a sudden we’re pretty much back to full strength. Jenkinson not to long after that.
Win tomorrow and we’re still 5th, maybe even 4th. A game in hand and two points of the top a possibility. I’ll take that.
Not sure how any sane Derby fan could think play-offs are out of reach for us? We’re currently in a play-off position as it is.
It’s a difficult run of games after the break, nine until the transfer window. But, with a half decent points return and a couple of astute signings then were...still in the play-off positions.
It’s hardly a car crash.

There’s always a handful of people around this part of the season that says it’s the weakest league in years. Its a competitive league and if anything we’re seeing more and more teams stay up for atleast few seasons.
Form between the two teams are the same over the last 5, played almost the same teams. Dawson’s back from injury, if he’s picked and is up to speed that’s massive for us. It’s only took Yates coming back from injury for us to get over Sows injury but we look a lot more balanced when Yates plays.
Any other game and I’d say we’re on course for a solid but unspectacular 1-0 win, but because it’s derby, I’m putting down a 4-0 steam rolling included a Ben Watson overhead screamer into the top right corner.

Dawson will be on the bench tomorrow. Don’t think Lamouchi will be looking to chance too much after last weeks victory.

Agree with you on that Will. Don't need to risk it.
I'll go for a repeat 3-0; this time with goals from three of our own - Worrall, Cash, Yates.
Could also be a red card as they have a few hotheads who could get frustrated.

I think there is a real chance Of the game being off tomorrow. Trent is forecast to keep rising overnight. Let’s hope it’s not as bad as forecast 🤞
