I'm sure most have seen the speculation in the press about the future of the Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix team. Much of this speculation leads on to consider the possibility of Hamilton joining Ferrari at the beginning of 2021* after his contract with Mercedes-Benz expires.
But after the "competitive" performance of the Ferrari drivers in today's Brazilian Grand Prix, might a move to Ferrari be on the cards for Hamilton a year earlier?
Ferrari could have a team comprised of Leclerc, who, (IMO) has been the more mature (and sporting) driver this year and Hamilton, which would surely go down well with the fans, while Mercedes could gain a German driver for their team, one who is a former World Champion and they are badly in need of a more German identity as many Germans identify the team as "British", so it is claimed.
Who knows? If that happened perhaps even the FIA would be kind to Ferrari.
That would make a nice change, wouldn't it?

"On the money he’s earning? I doubt it."
Ferrari don't pay thier drivers! The cost is met by "other sources".

I think if he gets to 7 next year he may want to try something different.
I also would not rule out McLaren as they are going back to Mercedes Engines in 2021, so could be a force again and he may want to end his career with them.
I personally would prefer he did not drive for Ferrari

No, I'd rather he not go to "them". But it's like Senna said to Prost, "I'll drive your car for nothing!"
He drove the car in the end and I suppose he got paid but to be honest, I don't remember.... I do remember that in '93 he was turning up at the circuit and negotiating each race there and then with Dennis.
If Ferrari are looking like they have the best car, they will be the most attractive team to every driver.
Who knows? After last week we may see him there next year!
Be good for Mercedes to have a German driver too. A straight swap between Vettel and Hamilton?
Very unlikely, but stranger things have happened although at the moment I think he would rather stay at Mercedes but suddenly the future there is less certain.

"Exclusive: The FIA has seized parts of the fuel system of Ferrari, one Ferrari customer and one Non-Ferrari. A thorough investigation of the parts will be conducted in the FIA laboratories."
Big trouble that could account for their significant straight-line speed, over the competition.

It would not be a surprise to me that they are cheating, the speed advantage they have in a straight line is ridiculous

Next season will be very interesting. If the car is rapid again, will they let Charles challenge or bow down to Seb again

Interesting question. Surely if Charles out qualifies him and is doing better on race day over the first few rounds then they'll have to stop favouring Seb.
Seb has really cracked frequently when under pressure these last couple of seasons. Not as good a driver as made out in my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said it from his days at RedBull, if his car is the fastest and he can disappear from pole, he is nigh on unbeatable.
He is another driver that cannot pull a result out of nothing.
