It was simply unsustainable for there to be any other outcome than the sacking of Pochettino this evening. The results in 2019 are damning, and to carry on as if everyhing was rosy would have been simply foolhardy.
Daniel Levy has absolutely done the right thing for the club, to slide any further down the table as the season unfolds would have been simply the most stupid thing any Chairman could allow. Daniel Levy has not invested £1 billion in the club to see it slide into the Championship.
I thank Mr Pochettino for getting Spurs Top Four for a few seasons, but he will leave and soon be forgotten quickly by me, as a manager that in five years at the club, with some of the best players in the division won nothing. This is as good as it will get for Pochettino. He will never get another gig like this and hold onto it for five years without delivering anything.
We all move on and await the new appointment, who will get my unequivocal backing. The season starts here.
COYS
PS Maybe finally the board can come back together again, and get behind the new manager now.
The inevitable has finally happened

Didn’t Sizzle adamantly say Poch wasn’t going anywhere until end of the season ?
Thanks for all the memories Poch, but 100% the correct decision. Form has been diabolical for 8 months now and we need a fresh change. Let’s get a serial winner in charge and move forward.

Yeah that Champions League run to the final was diabolical! I'm sure the new manager will be much better and we can move forward, doh!

Listen to Donald, clueless f*cking plastic. You’ll be long cold in the ground before this club wins a f*cking a Trophy you mug.
Serial winner? Ain’t no serial winner that will be caught dead at this club or will want to work with that joke Levy.

And what the f*** did we win? Nothing!!! 8 months of pure s** football that has gone completely stale under a manager who has clearly lost the drive and passion for the club. 6 wins in 24 league games. No away win since last Feb. Go figure
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And why do you think that is, Poch became a bad manager overnight? or do you think Levy may have been behind our woeful transfer business over the last few years. Mark my words Poch will be a successful manager with a club that backs him and we will slip back into mediocrity with a yes man who doesn't spend Levy's pennies.

Yes Jose has won things, but not on a budget I just don’t see how his appointment will work with levy, he usually has money to spend so what will happen in January? If we spend in January then you have to ask why we didn’t do more in the summer.........

Look at Jose’s last two appointments, hounded out at Chelsea by the players and pretty much the same at Man Utd due to poor form and speaking out.......

No I agree the form was totally awful I’m just not convinced getting Jose is the right move, would prefer Allegri, Jose just annoys everyone where he goes, but yes he does deliver something that spurs aren’t use to and that’s some type of trophy, will he be good enough to get us top four this year I’m not sure
