I hope....

....we lose soon...Cos this site will die a death without Gluteus, Skinnered, Mcooling et al, having something to moan at...

Dont worry Spart after tuesday we could be in bottom 3 and a point infront of Donnie. Plenty to moan at then......

I am not here to moan, but to criticise when I see things that I think could be done better and to praise those things that are done well.

So - a great performance from Barnsley yesterday but not the result we deserved. We just need to get that second goal which gives us the cushion and stops us having to defend desperately when the opposition throws the kitchen sink at us. Drinkwater surely must get on the score sheet soon - he has a thunderous shot and rattled the crossbar again yesterday. Injuries are a worry and just the lack of a really class striker up front - not that I am knocking Andy Gray - he has undergone a renaissance under Keith Hill - but is not as sharp as he used to be when younger.

Derby will be a sterner test - watched a bit of them on the Football League show and all their three goals against Millwall were classy. We are capable of a result though.

I think the view from the West stand is still blinkered.
Some people still cant see that Hillcroft are setting the foundations of a new team, one that has the capability to get a result against anyone in the division, by playing good football as a team.
Yes we still have some issues to sort out, goalscoring, injuries etc, but the future is looking good, even if we do lose against Derby, so what, I think the majority of fans will have confidence in our team to climb back out of trouble, and Hillcroft to sort out the issues.
We have to bear in mind that weve hardly seen a fully fit strike force on the team sheet, but the players have all dug in and worked hard to overcome this, well done lads.

Come on you Reddddzzzz

Yeah you're absolutely spot on spartacus. Three points lower than same time last season and already opened up a huge two point gap over the bottom three, after just eight games.

I'm convinced. Let me go get the bunting out. I think it's outrageous we don't have capacity crowds every game.

Are we close to the point where you go onto the oppo's board wishing them to beat us?

I think you're getting me all wrong. I'm agreeing with you completely. I think 1 win from our first 8 is a brilliant start and we're only joint 23rd on goals scored. I personally expected much worse and don't think a single Barnsley fan has anything, but cause for celebration right now.
