Think tired is the best description of our performance yesterday, probably as poor as we've been under lampard so far. Defensively we were all over the place again and if it wasn't for kepa and VAR the score line could have looked alot worse. Think we've another difficult game midweek against villa but hopefully a returning Tammy can bring some much needed energy to the side

What stood out to me was the realization Stamford Bridge isn't a fortress anymore. West Ham looked so comfortable, no trepidation.
I randomly remembered the 2-4 City game in 2010, how we had two players sent off vs. a very good team & it still felt like a massive shock we lost. Every year we have at least one match like this, last year it was Leicester - that aura, the sense of invincibility at home has completely gone now.
Not losing to West Ham at home must've also been one of the last records of the Roman era to still stand aswell?

Our record at home this season has been very poor.
I think we have only won 3 or maybe 4 games in all comps

I dunno why I just hit me in this particular match, lost plenty of matches like this at home the last 10 years or so, and as you say our home form isn't that great this year, but yeah..... SB isn't what it was in the mid to late noughties anymore.
No matter how flimsy there were always reasons for prior defeats at home (in the league), even that one vs. Palace in Conte's title winning year was new manager bounce for the opponent. This felt totally out of nowhere, out of form London rival just rocking up and winning, no sweat.
My random musings after the match.

Almost certainly annoys Lamps too DA
Few have more claim to being responsible for our historic home record when he was a player
