Just a reminder the team that is top at xmas I think past 15 years won the title unless it was Liverpool!
We have a crazy fixture list but so far done well by winning the three prem games.
Salzburg and watford are massive games for me. Sign of the prem with a win will be ideal and we can forget about it for a week.
The villa game dont count imo as none of the first team will play that and surely the semi in the world club should be easy run out. Team rotated well so far and should be not too tired. The last 30 mins versus bournmouth was literally a stroll.
Then come the intense games. By then city and Leicester would have played each other. A draw would be great and sets us up nicely to play leicester.
Exciting times. Can we finally beat our xmas jinx.

Good shout Irish. Hopefully we maintain this run through Xmas and we head into the New year still first and still unbeaten. Considering the performance that was given in the derby by the second string I am confident we can do that. Injuries permitting.
Hopefully Keita steps on the gas and starts to prove why we paid so much for him. He was instrumental the other day and that pass for (if I remember rightly) Salah's goal was class. Onwards and upwards redmen.

I do not know why I still think city could do some crazy run of games. People.keep talking about our squad but leicester squad is no way good as ours. Granted they have less games to contend with.

I saw a statistic the other day that in the last eleven seasons the team top at Christmas has gone on to win the Premier League eight times.
The other three times the team top were Liverpool.
Not checked it for authenticity, but just one to keep you all honest.

I was looking at CL groups and TBH its first is really better.
If we finish 1st our opponents in last 16 might be real madrid, shaktar, atletico, inter/dortmund, zenit/lyon, valencia
If we are 2nd
Bayern, barca, psg, juve leipzig, ajax.
First beat red bull salzburg, then beat watford. the lets the kids beat villa, then beat whoever then beat flamengo.
then parade the world club tin pot
then have turkey
then play leicester for the league title.
