Good luck to them. They are the best. There is no luck or destiny involved. A well managed club. From the north west of England just beat the world. That is great x

Begrudgingly pleased for the club and in all honesty, it’s right that LFC are competing for the biggest trophies. Their barren spell wasn’t good for the English game.

The saddest part of it all is that United are not competing with them for these trophies at present.

All that said, am not remotely pleased for the fan base on this site (barring one or two), who lets face it, are just trolls and aren’t remotely proper fans.

Agree with the part about United not being there with us Winston.

We’re probably going to win the league this year, and it’s going to be great for a few reasons. Firstly because we haven’t won it in so long, secondly because it’ll be the first time in my lifetime we’ve won the league. And thirdly because we will beat city to it who have thrown so much money at pep who already had an outrageous squad that it’s pretty sweet to beat them, even if we have spent a fair bit ourselves (although most offset by sales)

But it would be so so so much sweeter if it was united also up there that we beat. Sooner you guys get back the better it’ll be imo

Yep totally agree. No problem with Liverpool as a club myself, and it’s a cool city. Just most of the mugs who ‘support’ them on here have never set foot in northwest England, just plastics like Pranks who are only in it for the wums.

You come on here with your awful Danny Dyer act, calling for popularity votes, and have the nerve to whinge about other fans being wums.

Feck me Ace, you’re such a loser

There are a lot of Millennials out there who seem not to be aware that in the period of 1990 to the present day, the fine football club of Liverpool FC (of which they are) last won the English Championship.

This reflects the period from 1967 to 1993 when the even finer football club of Manchester United (according to Bill Shankly) also failed to win the same Championship. Many of us endured all or part of this period. (Which included a relegation to Div2. (Imagine that!)

Football comes in cycles and MUFC under Fergie killed it for 20 years. It now seems that Liverpool are finally getting their act together under Clippety.

I'm more concerned with how quickly MUFC turn this around. Good luck to Liverpool FC and their dreadful self obsessed supporters. They are now European and World champs, just as we firstly were, not long ago.

United will be back. Have faith in Ole.

As someone said, football works in cycles. You’ll have high points and low points.

But let’s be honest, us Liverpool and you United fans are extremely lucky to support two of the most successful club sides in the history of the game.
