“According to AS in Spain, his displays have caught the eye of City and Pep Guardiola.
“The publication says that Guardiola may have to search for a new No 2 next year with current deputy Bravo considering his long-term future."
Manchester Evening News: City 'join the chase' to sign Athletic Bilbao defender
Writes Daniel Murphy: “Man City are eyeing up a January move for Athletic Bilbao defender Unai Nunez, according to reports.
“The 22-year-old, who has one Spain cap, has been used rarely this season by the Basque club, making just seven appearances, but is still highly rated and played brilliantly in a 0-0 draw with Real Madrid on Sunday.
“It's claimed that City have 'joined the chase' for Nunez along with Arsenal, Everton and Bayern Munich."
