For those of you who didn't have the chance to watch Oriol Romeu's debut in the Carling Cup, and wondered how he fared, well...this is it!
Whenever Mikel has a very good game, look back!....there must have been another player vying for the same position in the team, who probably had a good game in previous matches!
I wasn't surprised Mikel had a good game against Swansea...after watching this video clips, you will understand why Mikel had to step up his game, cos there's serious competition for that DM role.
When you also consider that Oriol was MOTM in that game, then you'll understand better why Mikel was on point yesterday.
Has Mikel ever won MOTM before...just curious!
Here's for a healthy competition for places in the team

And heer is a video for Josh vs Fulham
I am liking this competition that is emerging and I also ilke how the youngsters are actually given the oppurtunity to fight for places. Hopefully we will see Bertrand able to compete with Cole as well, who has been dictinctly average this season IMO.

Mikel was good yesterday I'm not going to lie but It was against a very poor Swansea side who still couldn't dominate us despite being down to 10 men and an unfit Drogba scoring.Mikel and Lampard still shouldn't be in the team as far as I am concerned.
Our 4-1 win yesterday against Swansea has papered over the cracks, which were that the tempo of our football was far to slow.
