OK so the decade is coming to the end, looking back, what is the the most annoying football related incident you can remember of the past ten years ?
As an LFC fan, I could mention quite a few, other so called more prestige clubs taking our best players when we were almost there, Suarez, Torres, Mascherano, Alonso, Sterling to name a few.
Gerrards slip, but we can all forgive him, hes saved us more than he cost us.
Man City winning the lottery.
But the most annoying thing for me, by a country mile, is when Tottenham came good, and it's not the club, I always liked that club, I was glad when they were breaking the top four, but what annoyed me the most, was that all of a sudden, most of their fans started giving it large, and they seemed to take all their irk out on us, why ?
Even now, we have fans saying that spurs were at the same level as LFC but did not kick on, I am sorry, but Spurs have never, and will never be on the same level as LFC, yes they had a better first eleven for a few years, but as a club, LFC have always been on a different planet.
All of a sudden, this club, who have not won any silverware of note in about 20 years were giving it large, lording it over us, and telling us how things were/are.
LFC were left licking their wounds after some of the worst mismanagement after some of the worst owners in football history. We had to start again.
I must say though, it was not all Spurs fans, but quite a lot of them seemed to revel in their time in the sun, which is fine, but all their cockiness was all aimed at LFC. Why ?
That for me was the most annoying part of this decade for me in football, anybody else care to give their views ?

How is finishing above Liverpool like 7 out of 8 seasons or whatever it was, not being better than your level let alone at the same level?

sorry but spurs mean absolutely NOTHING to most of us I'm sure. I don't care they did what they did. I've respect for their hard work over several years but i really could care less in terms of it annoying me. If anything they are a good story about how football can be done without state backed funny money
ANY liverpool fan who would not put G&H sacking rafa, appointing Hodgson and then ending up in "near" administration and being forced into sale by the courts and having an ardant chelsea fan (thanks martin broughton forever) save us. Well I don't understand that fan.
From that moment forward it was a long period of learning and slow progress for us.

If that wasn't our low point I do not know what is.
Spurs are utterly irrelevant for me in that context. Best of luck to spurs they've built what they have out of hard work, so have we.
