I think Chelsea played long ball football under Mourinho because they did.

Liverpool don't play long ball football though. A pass from midfield behind the defence is not long ball. Its just football.

Long ball to Lallana/Mane/Salah while sorrounded by 6ft plus defenders should not work.

Call it what you want. It’s effective football but it sure as sheet not pleasing on the eye. Not that you’ll care of course. You’ll take 1 goal scrappy wins all day long. Just don’t expect people to wax lyrical over this team’s football.

You don't have to win em all 4-0. Was our result at Leicester not good football? I'm sorry mate but Liverpool play fantastic football and win football matches in so many ways it's unreal how good we are at playing different styles, tempos, formations etc. What I'm not saying is every player is world class, but Jürgen Klopp has us playing so good that it's a testament to how good a coach he is. Yeah we've spent money, but we've invested well, sold players at peak value and reinvested wisely. So well we didn't buy anyone on the summer and are 13 points ahead in the league by the end of the year.

If that's not by playing good football I don't know what is. Christ, Trent got MOTM the other day and he's the flipping right back. He was amazing in that game and was fantastic tonight, kids only 20. We're a good team, that's it.

TAA got MOTM today too. Not sure why. Also not sure why that means you play good football.

Winning football is good football. And you’re very good at winning those at the moment. Title winners need to grind out wins and you’re doing that relentlessly.
