Composure and character.

This result gives me greater pleasure than the $purs result.

1. We had to dig deep, fight back from behind which shows a bit of character.

2. I fecking hate Le Ar$e!

Brummie, I was wondering which Chelsea were going to turn up, the one against Spurs or the ones, who lost at home to Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham. I did not think about both turning up in the same match.

Fair comment - both Chelsea teams turned up but I was relieved the better one were on the 2nd shift!

I've only seen the YouTube highlights so far as I'm in Oz, my daughter has it recorded for her dad though so hopefully watching the whole game later - if my grandkids let me!

Conte did change to a 3 at the back vs Arsenal in a second half and from this change we went on to become league champions.

Ha! That’s exactly right, Tablighi. Some people just didn’t like Conte (or Sarri for that matter), and don’t let facts get in the way of their arguments.

I think you both know what I meant. Three at the back was his favoured formation and we all knew that at sometime he would revert to it - the Arsenal game was just the catalyst.

Once reverted to type I don't recall him changing things around - even for the debacle 1- 0 defeat at Man City when despite being one down in the early stage of the game we hardly ventured over the half way line and he didn't even make a substitution until the dying embers of the match!

That Man City game will live long in the memory Brum
but have you seen the first 1/2 hour of the Arsenal game ?,we were dreadful,and I was fearing the worst,but we managed to get back into it ,good character and composure shown by all.

The first 30 minutes earnt a double xx rating

I'll be honest...I never even had us to score in this one...let alone win it

The early sub was very good & improved us....but really, the ineptness of the goonz to present this on a plate was ridiculous...
