So plenty of posters have told us that we don’t look as solid defensively this season and I’d agree that we didn’t early on but there are reasons for it.
We lost the worlds best goal keeper to injury in our first game, an injury that kept him out for 2 months. We also have had disruption to our CB pairing with both our first & second choice CB partners to Van Dijk missing about 2 months each and then not forgetting that our midfield general has also been out for 6 weeks. So I think it’s easy to see why we’ve had problems but we are still the best defence in the league and have 4 clean sheets on the bounce.
If you’d offered me us 55 points at halfway with a 13 point lead and a game in hand I’d have ripped you’re arm off.
Best defence in the league.

when did you sign the worlds best goalkeeper? I must've missed that.

They must be lining up to top themselves.

You couldn't be more wrong pal. I'm proud of my team. I'm proud of their performance against a fantastic Liverpool side.
I'm disgusted with the way in which VAR is being used and yes, I'm bitter at the way it has treated us this season. When I said good luck for the rest of the season I meant it but be honest, really, were you that much better than us tonight?
We are a work in progress. We have the smallest squad in the league and with some decent additions I believe we will be in a position to truly compete with you and City. Time will tell.

Do you honestly believe that teams that win the league play well in every game?

This partnership of VVD and Gomez at the start of the season had conceded 5 goals in 15 matches before Gomez got injured against Burnley.
It looks they have resumed that partnership now with Gomez back to his best. How many clean sheets is that now since Gomez came in?
Bad, bad news for rivals. So exciting for us.

6/6 I believe. It's awesome, I'm so glad that Joe is finding his feet again and starting to look like that player in that 15 game stretch that looked unstoppable. If they keep this up then we will be rampaging towards more trophies. I want the league and CL if we can this year, anything else is a bonus.

TAA gets stuck for not being able to defend. He’s shut his critics up these last few games. He’s been fantastic at the back
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was a bit suspect 2nd half though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only when Traore switched over to the left!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Their left back roasted him twice that I noticed and I was only half watching the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah it was the left back getting past him which was more of a concern than the beast Adama

I bet the above.morons think de Gea is the best keeper in the world or ederson or some such.
you know the guy who throws in a goal every 3 games or the bench warmer from Brazil.
fact is alisson is UEFA keeper of the year and has cleaned up. first choice for brazil for good reason. he is indeed the best keeper around.
same as taa is the best right full on the planet no.matter what morons might bleat. great player and only a kid.
