Which midfielder would you buy in Jan?

For me it's the most important position in the team that needs addressing.

You cant have Willock coming on as a second half sub. Just shows how far we have dropped in terms of quality in that area. Willock is a talented player but at this stage of his career, he is out of his depth for me in the Premier league.

The current MF at the club offer absolutely nothing in terms productivity

With Xhaka potentially on his way we are going to be seriously depleted in MF.

That leaves Guendouzi and Torreira which is a frightening prospect.

Would you go for a player like Doucoure or someone slightly more technically gifted who could also be a goal threat in the Ramsey mode?

Chambers
Sokratis
Bellerin
Tierney
Kolasinac
Ceballos
Martinelli

Injury list is worse and worse

Is there any chance we may get players back for Man U game? so annoying that all our injuries drag on and on and on. Would be nice if we could have Bellerin, Holding, Ceballos, Sokratis, Martinelli back for Man U game, then Kolasinac, Chambers can be back for Palace game on 11th January, we of course all know Tierney won't be back till March.

It is now confirmed. Chambers out of the season with an ACL. We need to invest in a CB.

These two were meant to be back in training before Chelsea game but didn't feature in squad at all.

Shame about Chambers

Feel bad for Chambers, was looking really good this season in and bossing that game. WHY does all of Arsenal's defender suffer injuries at critical point aka Holding, Belerin and some extent KT

Bellerin, Holding and now Chambers three ACL's at Arsenal in one year. We are cursed.

Part of the reason we have looked better under Arteta is because he is using both full backs to come into midfield to defend counter attacks.

When Bellerin gets used to that style of defending again, we could try Maitland-Niles in central midfield.

Thats why Upamecano linked again sounds very good. He will allow us to cover right back and centre back which frees up AMN. If we can also add Saliba to the squad early it will add more cover because of the disappointing progression of Mav.
