Give him time!

i actually like henderson. the people that are calling for his head are stupid. he will be well worth the money one day.

This is the problem with want it now generation of fans. It's the same with Carrol, these 2 can and will be with the support of the coaching staff and the fans the mainstay of our club.

Henderson is a good prospect, as is Carroll, and they will both improve in time, which they both have. No worries there. They are only pressured due to the fee paid, but they are both very capable players.

As for Lucas, tbh while he has improved, he is still inconsistent and really isn't a patch on Mascherano as a DM. I'd prefer him as a box to box midfielder (like Meireles was), and for us to bring in a proper defensive midfielder in the next window.

We can't wait for them now. They should not be first choice. They can be introduced slowly like SAF did to Nani and Ronald, for 20 min in EPL, in 90 other games.

Patience is all well and good when you can afford to be sentimental, we cannot afford to not get top four this year because if we finish 5th or below Suarez will be off and that would be a disaster!

Ok these lads are young and will improve but in the meantime we simply have to keep winning!

Adam Henderson and Carroll were all average again but somehow Adam and Andy played 90 mins while Suarez was subbed with the game still in the balance and Bellamy kicking his heels?

Questions should be asked because our performances so far have been better with mobility around Suarez with Kuyt/maxi and Bellamy ready and willing to step in when needed, so why does Andy get 90 minutes which is detrimental to our style of play?

It should be the other way round, Bellamy or Kuyt starting with Suarez and Andy to be used as an impact sub!

I am a bit bemused by the team selection as well.

Henderson has done nothing, in fact some games I was wondering if he was playing. Adam does nothing but give the ball away, and carroll well he's the best of the 3 but that ain't saying much.

Couldn't agree any more! Fans these days are really deluded to think that buying 3/4 players will make an immediate impact. People talk about 20Million but in truth we only paid 16Million for Henderson..

I actually wrote an article on the old BBC606 to shut all the Lucas haters up and back him and stop being plastic fans! Now everyone has him in there starting XI week in week out.

The same goes for Henderson I actually like him and he will come good! But the competition is really fierce at the moment with Liverpool buying plenty of new players over the summer and its not going to be an easy ride for him. Especially coming to a bigger club. Given time he'll come good.

All I have to say is to all the Liverpool fans who are not backing the likes of Henderson and Carroll need to have a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves if they are really are true Liverpool fans.

Back the team and Keep The Faith!

Henderson has shown some flashes of his potential and certainly should be given time to develop. Saying that, I'd rather see Kuyt on the right side next week. We could do with his energy and pressing.

It seems as though even Liverpool fans can't say anything against the club on this board, pathetic really u get accused of being a wum.

Henderson may have shown the odd flash, but believe me he has mostly gone missing, I've been at 2 games this season and seen myself.
He is not a right winger, kuyt is better playing there and at least he provides cover for the right back and scores goals.
I know he's new but the team comes first and we have better options than henderson for now.
He's young and has plenty of time to improve, his time wiil come.
Also 442 i just don't get it with the players we have we should be playing 4231 with 3 players playing either side and just behind of suarez or Carroll possibly downing, gerrard, kuyt, and maxi, or suarez depending if Carroll starts.

Lucas, henderson, adam, gerrard, viaing for the holding midfield positions.
Thats henderson for the centre not the right and gerrard mentioned twice because he can play anywhere.
