whilst he is still very highly regarded? Probably out for a minimum of another couple of months now. This seems to be a recurring theme, misses a couple of months every season last thee seasons.
Highly controversial I know, but Spurs could really invest the money they get for Kane on at least three very decent players. If these injuries keep recurring year on year his value will decrease, so may as well cash in now.
Spurs will definitely have to dip into the transfer market now anyway. The problems are compounding, and Spurs do seem to always lose their best players to injury.
Is it time to move on Harry Kane

Kane has " must play every minute when fit" written in his contract. There is little Jose could do.

Not sure how much I would blame Mourinho for constantly playing Kane. He was brought in to get top 4 and we need every point we can get, and we also need to make sure our strike force compensate for the pile of shiiite defence.
I'll blame Jose for other stuff but blaming him for Kane's injury seems overly harsh.

That’s basically what Christopher is doing ,blaming Jose for the Kane injury. If you blame anyone, you blame Son for ridiculously getting himself sent off and banned for 3 games.

We’ve got far too many problems to worry about Kane but it’s clear to me that he’s not the same player he was a few seasons ago

Whoever is at fault it really does highlight the need for someone else up front, and not a rookie 17 year old. Kane getting more and more injury prone, and no longer the threat on goal he was 2 seasons ago. Son out too. Familiar story to last season with important players being out at the same time. Why we have no back up option to begin with is just dumb by Spurs. Either keep Llorente or sell him and upgrade. The latter being the ideal decision.

Totally agree. Last season we had Llorente at least, but this season nobody but a rookie kid. I can’t wait to see what Parrot is made of, but we shouldn’t be relying on a 17 year old as back up. Ridiculous. We need a back up striker like I have been saying for years.

Getting top 4 requires him managing the squad properly and not running certain players into the ground.

Could he have played him less? Yes in hindsight he could have but it's not worth having a go at him for, it's just bad luck.
Wasn't he played too often under Poch too? The fact that we don't have another recognised striker doesn't help matters. I'm pretty sure I remember Poch complaining about not having a second striker when we let go of Llorente, so probably that decision was made above his head.

Obviously the lack of cover is the more pressing problem but that still doesn't excuse the complete lack of rotation imo
4 games in a week and kane is going to play 90 minutes in all of them? Sorry but that's not just bad luck that's poor management

4 games in 2 weeks*
Dont think anybody would be defending jose if it was 4 games in one week
