"Best I can probably do is get through one more round of the CL (if we're lucky) and possibly get into Europa League next season. Will that do?"
"Unless you and Joe want to stump up, say £100m this January for a quick rebuild? Otherwise it will be a couple more transfer windows and a rebuild almost from scratch. Your choice."

Mourinho is already dropping subtle hints to Levy now the window is open, from being `happy with the squad` he is now bemoaning our injuries, squad depth and the fact we have `no striker`.
I think he thought our squad was just under performing for Poch and he could get them playing again. But it has slowly dawned on him that some major surgery is needed.
It will be interesting to see if Levy backs Mourinho in the transfer market, if he doesn`t, I don`t see the point in hiring him.
It could get quite messy, quite quickly, enjoy the ride campers.

The squad really is a mess. I think most people probably underestimated what a shambles it is. Doesn’t help that previous performing players suddenly are unable to do a basic pass or control.

I have posted extensively about the squad upgrade that is needed. No way can even a half of it be done in one month, even if Levy agreed.
Best possible... Bruno Fernandes and Dybala.
Odds...50-1 against.
Reality..... we're stuck with what we've got plus maybe one or two useless new faces.
