I think that some people who've not paid attention, like a few salford friends have missed the ultra competitive nature of the current Liverpool set up.
This has been outlined in many ways but the best example is how we took the Champions league defeat 2 season ago on the chin and returned last season to win it. The next example WILL be how we took an amazing 97 point season leading to 2nd and how we returned to improve yet further to go win the thing.
Do utd fans seriously think that their team can get away with a 1-1 based on martin atkinson then come to our patch and not expect our nature to have something saved especially for them?
I'm not in the habit of calling games but I really believe utd are in for a long hard day at the office no matter what happens.

what part of the OP talking about how we've turned these experiences into learnings and our nature is to improve upon them?
you park the buss attitude can continue all you like but do not expect an easy ride on sunday. thats exactly what i said.
we have improved ourselves year on year.
examples:
mourinho sent out a tactic at home to pump it long on a weakness with TAA and matip. He got two early goals then sat back and we only got one back.
roll on 6 months and a new season and we beat you easy at home and got mourinho the sack, then you parked the bus with OGS and you lot cheered hilariously
this year you've bascially benefited form a typical martin atkinson attitude and a lucky goal cos our lot were not focused enough after not getting that free.
you think we have not LEARNED??? you can that this as a fact. Our analysits, and coaches have worked that problem and improved us as a result.
and finally believe me win lose or draw you'll have had a torrid time by the end of 90mins on sunday. Thats our mentality. Do not come thinking you'll be able to just match us all of a sudden cos its a derby.
thats why we came back from a CL final defeat, why we have come back from a 2nd place by 1 point to be even better than last year.

I don't know what the result will be but I do know Linders and Krawietz will have taken the lessons from the game and have worked on it.
Yes form goes out the window. I rememebr going into this game under rafa with 6 or 7 loses or something and winning 2-0 with n'dog scoring.
What I am saying is the mentality we have i to take that draw last time and work on it to improve and have the desire to put it right.
IMO utd are in for a torrid time. they could still win 0-1 but that won't change the basic issue at hand.
The whole point is our competitive nature. we owe utd for taking 2 points.
We will be looking at wolves and building up to a right scrap based on wolves being hard done by but our poor showing that second half. I just know we will. We will want to put that second half right at thier gaff.
if utd can stand up and compete with that then their fans ought to be asking why don't they do that every week.
eg.
drew with us, beat norwich, then lost to bournemouth.
Beat brighton but then draw with shff utd.
beat city then draw with everton and lost to watford
then lose badly to city in league cup and then beat norwich and say they've turned a corner.
This all says they just don't learn form it. They might be able to raise the game for the day but you can be assured that they'll drop the ball in one of the next game
