Great article on the BBC today about Nigel Pearson.

Its great to see him managing successfully at this level again. Also backing up a lot of reports about how good he is day to day managing the players and the staff at every level of the club.

Yes great to see him doing well. Watford are my 2nd favourite club atm because of big Nige. It’s giving him the opportunity to rebuild his reputation.
Both Pearson and Shakespeare are Leicester legends.

I think the quote that most intrigues me is about Deeney saying that this is the first time in 8 years he's been treated like an adult. Makes me wonder exactly what he means by this, or thinks he means.

There was also a good article in the Telegraph last week, Big Nige is back!!
Hope JG didn't pick Watford to support when he transferred.

Good to see him doing well, very early days of course but Watford are working hard and look to have turned the corner under him and Shakespeare. It’s his first job with Shakey since leaving Leicester and I think they are a good combo
Be interested to see how far they can take Watford in the long term, I still think they are probably quite limited in terms of building a squad to reach the next level, but they can certainly guide Watford to mid table safety

The funniest thing about this is the club Johngee chose to go and support after leaving us was........ WATFORD!

BS you have nailed it the signing of Shakey is as important as the new improved Nigel. Sum of the Parts as back in his LCFC hay days.
Failure is a component part of achieving success if you don't fail you can't know how to win imo

It's a little early to be lauding the management team too much, there's a long way to go, although they've undeniably had a great start. Pearson maybe slightly fortunate perhaps in taking over when their talisman returned, Deeney being obviously a key component of their team.
It puzzled me why Watford were floundering, having a reasonably decent squad, so credit to Nige and Shakey for turning it around so quickly. If he succeeds here he'll be lauded as the new Sam, which will no doubt annoy him. It would be interesting to see what he could do in the medium term at least, if given the chance, which from Watford's recent record of manager sackings isn't very likely I suspect.
One thing is for sure, we will be facing a much greater test on March 14 when we make the journey south to the outskirts of civilisation. The critical point to consider here is when our fans start the 'one Nigel Pearson' chant, will JG join in from his seat in the Sir Elton John stand?

Nigel appears to have matured in some of his personal characteristics- apparently he is STILL doing interviews with the local radio reporter- Shakey has lost his moment of glory!
Would be great if Watford trounce Mourinho's Spurs by a big score later today!
