Crossing Byres road today at the Partick end.
Massive oval 4-5 foot shaped hole in the middle of the carriageway.
I could see the main service pipes and it was about 5 feet deep.
No signage or worker activity.
A few light weight traffic cones dotted around it.
Cars flying by in both directions.
Country's gaun tae the dugz.

I ended up missing out the first 5 letters when addressing him.
And crossing over the a & w.
