I remember that era with fondness.

He played in the 4-4 League Cup tie at your place in the mid 80s Kitty!

I read the article, but I don't particularly remember him. I remember the match though . . . that's Wednesday all over.

Sad loss and though I never knew him personally it seems like a part of the past, our youth, has gone with him. I thought he was going to be at Chelsea for years and a future captain.

Wow, it brings home our own mortality and how we are all not spring chickens any more. It seems like it was only yesterday when he was a fresh faced young player appearing for us.
