Rumour Has It: Juventus planning record Virgil van Dijk raid
This was an article I read on fotmob
https://www.fotmob.com/embed/news/6549338-juventus-linked-with-unlikely-150m-move-for-liverpool-star-virgil-van-dijk
I doubt this is going to happen but I do wonder how long players want to stay at a club when they have won every major trophy.

Perhaps vvd might want a fresh challenge. Not exactly getting one in the perm is he? Might want to leave on a high?

Nice dream for you, but not happening in the real world.😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just playing devils advocate. He’s certainly your most important player by a monumental distance.

Your desperation knows no bounds. Have you actually read the article? There’s not one shred of a suggestion that there’s anything to this, apart from the sun saying it’s a Juve ‘source’, which we all know is code for ‘we’ve made the whole thing up’.
It’s something the press do for special cases like you Baz, simple people who lap it all up

VVD wont stay with us forever, will be here for at least the end of the 2020/2021 season though.
Will still be in his prime as the best centre half in the world so would command a record fee, again. £150m would be the starting bid or thereabouts.
Nothing in football is permanent, Mcmanaman going all those years ago demonstrated that to me and for those older, Keegan going.
So enjoy the mans footballing talents while he is here, he has brought the side on plenty, but let's not forget who brought him to the club.
While Klopp is here I trust him to do the right thing, he is a brilliant brilliant manager. Wouldnt swap him for anyone.. so lucky we get to have both Klopp and VVD at the club.

Jokes on you sherminator, not only did I think it was nonsense I also said he wouldn’t go, see my first comment.
The rest was simply playing devils advocate, without wumming or insulting anyone. Basically just contributing to the debate, until you popped in to do a Winston impression.

It would take a world record transfer fee but even then I can't see it.

Doubt you’d sell and that they could afford him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They could definitely afford him, but why would Liverpool sell?

all people need do is look to the source. LFc fans need to realise where this is coming from.

Can only see him going to Madrid or Barcelona

Mcmanaman went because the team was poor overall and were winning nothing.
Keegan left because there was no money in English football and there was abroad.
Virgil has both success and money here.
You can tell when you listen to him that he is an ultimate professional who wants others to act in the same manner and that's what is happening here right now.
I fully expect him to stay here for many years.
