We've already lost.

Knew this would go this way when I saw the line up.

I support Super Frank on the whole, but I am concerned with his refusal to give Giroud a chance, when Michy has clearly not been up to it in the Premier League this season.

Buy looking at our 11 and the remaining subs, I can't see where an equaliser can come from let alone is coming from.

And it doesn't help that Utd have a 12th man on the pitch.

There's been some shockers from VAR. But that one is just taking the pash. Incredible

Let's be honest, Lampard is out of his depth; full stop!

VAR was absolutely atrocious tonight. How the Maguire and Dave decisions went against us I have no idea. That coupled with the yellow cards for Willian and Zouma for doing nothing wrong, along with the injuries to Kante, Christensen and potentially Kova... It really wasn't out night. And I can completely accept the Giroud offside decision!

That said, Batshuayi has to be one of the worst strikers I've seen play for us. He's awful. Giroud has to start if Tammy is out. But Frank has some sorting out to do in the summer. Not convincing in attack or defence.

Kova best player tonight by a mile.

I can - I wasn't a huge supporter of bringing it in for clear and obvious errors!

However I never imagined it would scrutinse every goal to find out if it could some how be disallowed for reasons that no one would have dreamed questioning before!

I never thought I would say this after my opinion two years ago but I'd happily see it scraped now!

Neither are fit for purpose as starters, at this level.
Both have generally thrived when played as impact subs.

Maybe Giroud should have got more sub (& cup) appearances, but that's about it.

Cup competitions/tournament football is Giroud' niche.
