Suarez initially thought he was going to play alongside Torres at Pool, so why not at Chelsea.
He has been unsettled by the British running-in-straight-lines purchases; so why not put a cheeky, say £19m, offer in for him in January?
He could compete with Mata and Sturridge for a wide position and fill in for Torres and when Drogba/Anelka leave in the long term.
And play off Lukaku in the very long term.
Should Chelsea consider Suarez?

I cant unserstand this rambling that we overpaid for Torres, prior to leaving the badly bearded one stated that he was worth at least 70 mil, seems we got ourselves a bargain, and I think we have bought us a Rolls Royce, style, elegance, grace, power, and untouchable breeding.
Shame Kenny D decided to blow the budget on a hummer, slow, built like a tank, has the turning circle of of an oil tanker, and drinks like a fish

So yes, you overpaid for Torres.
==================================
Understand your thinking, but results will tell in the end. If Torres helps us back into the title winning ways we have had in recent years, then it's money well spent, same goes with your purchase. I do however think there is a greater chance of Torres doing it for us than Carroll doing the same for you, only time will tell I guess, but something inside me does say £35 mil....for Andy Carroll...£35 mil.....are you having a laugh

I'll say one more thing about Torres-as under-whelming as he's been his arrival did galvanise our players into making top 4 last season-the financial repercussions of crashing out of the CL woudl have been even more disastrous
Just some food for though

You would have walked the top 4 with or without Torres
=====================================
Possibly, nut unprovable, and we as a side did play better, much better following his arrival.
Having watched him carefully this and last season, I see a player who is slowly returning to his most threatening.
The bad tackle aside, do you see signs of him returning to the form he once showed for you guys ??
