Absolue Sh**"te !!!

Clueless, terrible, no passion, fight. Sorry but we are going down. That today was pathetic, those so called players have a lot to answer for. We are a VERY poor side. Recruitment has been terrible, Konsa, Nakamba, Luiz, Hause are NEVER premiership quality. Smith is clearly out his depth, love the guy but his tactics are terrible, he doesn't know what formation to play. We are just Sh** te !!!

If that was the opportunity for the players to play for their place in the cup final next week, I'd ditch them all (except Grealish, Reina, Samatta and Mings) and play the youth team. Gutless performance. We simply don't get get stuck in enough, and concede too many chances. Every week it feels like the opposition have over 20 shots at our goal. We badly need a Kante type player in front of the defence. Luiz and Nakamba are not good enough.

Don't care if Smith is one of us, just f*** off now and go! Three defeats in a row now, two of them to poor teams next to us in the table, it's appalling and we're running out of time sticking with our clueless manager!!! How can we lose twice to Southampton and Bournemouth, what a catastrophe, and we've lost to pretty much every team in the top half which are the majority of games left to play. At least a new manager bounce may give us a few wins which could keep us up. He may even get the facking defence to improve.

Truth is Smith should have gone in December when it was obvious he wasn't good enough, why on Earth they gave him a 5 year contract in November I will never, ever know.

How many more years do us as fans of this club have to put up with this nonsense, it's been near on a decade since we were any good, a new decade and the same old rubbish - poor recruitment, poor coaching, poor mentality surround the club. Our only player who has performed at the level required this season is Grealish who cost nothing. We accept so much mediocrity at this club it's painful, it's about time we stopped harping on about winning the European Cup 38 years ago which means sod all to attracting quality players now and focused on planning a successful future. We hear soundbites from the owners and the club which make us think that all the awful times over the last few years are over and we're back on track as a club, well after that performance today and countless others this season I do not see a club with a bright future at all.

In a cup final and still have hopes to stay up. Having said that I have seen on expected goals against Villa are worst side allowing by far the most highest amount of chances against them so I can see why you would want to get rid.

Clueless - I think that describes it well. I've supported DS up until now but am beginning to wonder if he isn't the problem. We played well against Spurs and only a terrible mistake meant we didn't come away with something, so the players can produce at times.

We can still get out of this but I have the feeling something is going pear-shaped behind the scenes.

DS ranting on about the players after the match doesn't help; it's what finished Bruce. Acknowledge it was a bad performance but deal with it in the dressing room.

Look of a relegated side I am afraid.

Just looked on B365 and we are second favourites to go down, they are rarely that wrong.

A battering next week and will be tough to come back from.

McGinn could be the difference on staying up.

Lets hope we do it, but I am not hopeful.
