Our entire back line is stocked with injury-prone players across all positions from right to left. We've also just commited £30m for Saliba whose injury record is nothing to write home about.

I don't care if Mustafi was having the worst season of his life, I still wouldn't ship out a player who's managed to keep himself consistently fit for almost two seasons now.

Not man of the match but Mustafi was certainly a top performer. And this time no errant passes or silly lapses of concentration.

Arteta is really turning around a lot of players.

Normal service will resume.

Everton are very good at set plays. Calvin lewit in particular is a handful in the air.

Mustafi did lose Lewin at the end of the game. Almost erased all the good work he did. He just has to cut out those lapses completely.

Another good performance by Mustafers though. Hope he keeps it up (obviously).

He's been much improved lately but still has those lapses, at least 2 or 3 a game. Sell him in the summer.

We need to solidify defence by adding one or two CB’s in. Not entirely sure selling Mustafi is wise if he keeps those performances up. As a back up CB that’s not too bad.

Arteta clearly decided the “arm round the shoulder” was the right policy for the hitherto hapless Mustafi - and it appears to be working 👍
