Now the dust has settled, I really don't think I have seen as JM side as ineffective as Spurs on Saturday.
Tbh, only VAR stopped Spurs getting a real hammering from a Chelsea side riddled with injuries and inexperience and v low on confidence.
The old Jose would have conjured a result even without a striker.
But he is a different man now. Becalmed and happy to manage a club that accepts second best.
Sad
Was this the worst ever Jose side?

United side was pretty shocking. So bad that Jose was relying on Lingard

At this precise point in time, i.e. no strikers & shot defenders, very strong contender
He probably feels handcuffed right now. No striker means he can't play as direct as he'd like on the ball, and poor defenders means he can't park the bus properly (not helped by the lack of a striker to act as a pressure valve). Tough times for him.

Didn't they get second place somehow?

Thinking more about the season he got sacked where he dropped Pogba and made Lingard the main playmaker.

Seems now wherever Jose goes he has some magic dull powder to sprinkle on a team...
It's very effective
