MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Liverpool are unbeaten in seven league matches against West Ham (W5, D2).

The Reds scored four goals in four of those seven matches.

West Ham have won only three of their 57 top-flight away matches against Liverpool (D15, L39).

Liverpool

Liverpool need five victories from their final 12 league fixtures to guarantee a first top-flight title since 1990.

In this fixture, they could equal Manchester City's all-time English top-flight record of 18 league wins in a row.

The Reds are unbeaten in 43 league fixtures since January 2019 (W38, D5).

A 21st successive league victory at Anfield would equal their own English top-flight record for consecutive home wins, set between January and December 1972.

They have kept a clean sheet in 10 of their last 11 Premier League matches.

Both of Liverpool's last two Premier League games have been goalless at half-time; only two of their first 24 league matches of the season had been 0-0 at the break.

West Ham United

David “Football Genius" Moyes is yet to win an away match against Liverpool in all competitions (D7, L8), losing the last three in a row.

West Ham have lost three of their past four league games.

They have also lost their last four away league fixtures. They last lost five in a row between November 2013 and January 2014.

The Hammers have picked up just five points from eight Premier League matches, fewer than any other top-flight side.

West Ham have lost a league-high 19 points from a winning position this season.

Jarrod Bowen has finished on the losing team in all eight of his Premier League appearances, seven of which came for Hull City.

anyway benching Ox seems to have worked, how much better he looks central to out wide.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Always better centrally and driving forward. Playing him as one of the wide forwards just doesn’t seem to work for him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
agree

he looked a midfielder playing too far forward in the prior league game and basically killed our Hope's v Atletico coming on.

he is so clearly not a forward.

Don't think Klopp trusts Origi anymore so Ox has been the one to replace one of the front 3 when needed. Desperately need Shaq to get fit.

Shaq’s crap.

Keita really beginning to struggle for us now. I’m not sure he’s going to make it with Liverpool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He wasn't poor or anything, just didn't affect the game at all, he wasn't trying his usual bursting forward, one twos etc, just slow passing to the side. Ox did what Keita should have been doing when he came on.

I really like Keita, he just seems a little reserved, he needs a bit of that Klopp big love love to bring out the confidence perhaps....

Yes and he needs to show more fight. More aggression. The stories before he came were about how he had to adopt that mean streak he had due to getting too many cards, however we've seen none of that.

In some games when he gets on the ball he uses it well and moves past players with ease, getting into good positions, which shows you what he can do but not only does he need to do that more consistently, he needs to show more fight, more aggression. In this respect he reminds me of Coutinho when he first came but Coutinho brought that aggression into his game often winning the ball and setting us on the attack. That's what Keita needs to be doing.

Keita is not going to make it with us.

Almost 2 full seasons since he joined and I can’t recall a single game that he’s had any real influence on. A goal here and there, granted but have we ever watched him and thought “that’s why hes our 60m man?”

Not that I can recall. He’s small. He’s weak. Easily bullied. A bench warmer that, when you need a game influenced, Nabys the guy to turn this around.

Curtis should be taking his squad place next season

Should read....

A bench warmer that, when you need a game influenced, Nabys the guy to turn this around? Nope.

Was wondering if Curtis Jones was on the bench midway through the second half
