An Interesting Read

lol the article is written with such a cynical Wenger out viewpoint it can't be taken seriously. The website looks like the Junior Gunners part of arsenal.com, the guy who wrote it is probably still young enough to qualify.

it does, that article is absolutely terrible. i could explain why in detail, but it would be a waste of my time responding to that piece of poo.

It doesn't bring anything to a debate on the value of Wenger, simply because it's so polarised.
Anyone who is prepared to argue that Wenger hasn't made mistakes is an idiot, yet the author of this piece seems to be basing his argument on a presumption that anyone supporting the manager MUST be stating that Wenger has a perfect record. Clearly that isn't the case, therefore the argument is specious and false.
The author also seems to be unable to recognise that the argument they present is extremely selective (and in at least one case, utter garbage). I can't take seriously someone who states that selling Anelka was forced on the club (which it was) then go on to state that a sale which allowed the emergence of Henry somehow 'hardly benefited our football'. What a tool.
I have no problem with people being dissatisfied with the way the team are playing, nor wanting a new manager. But this argument is extremely selective (eg. nowhere did I see it mentioned that Graham oversaw the lowest scoring team in the league in his first PL season - 40!) and therefore not reliable.
It's all well and good to praise GG - he did well for the club. But people who are fond of the 'more trophies per season than Wenger' line forget that for much of his tenure Arsenal were reduced to being merely a cup side. Sure, they did well, but despite winning the league twice under Graham, they failed to challenge - at all - far more often.
Some good points, but a weak argument overall.

I never knew we were considered a European Superpower!
The article is poor! but I do agree with Myth 9!!!
Why are people calling for Graham anyway, didn't he go over to the dark side. I'm sorry, that is a sin most unforgivable to me!

No, i read the full article. 'a little subjective' he's putting Wenger across as a moron the whole time. if i can be bothered i'll write my opinion in a bit. the thing is though, in general a lot of the 'Wenger out brigade' are so closed minded it's usually pointless putting any sort of rational debate in front of them.

I'd love to read a reasonably put together objective article as to why Wenger is still the right man for the job, please do.

Funny you calling me or the so called 'Wenger out brigade' closed minded when i'm pretty sure not once in that article does he say Wenger should be sacked, or is it because criticizing Wenger automatically puts you in the 'closed minded Wenger out brigade'?
Now i'm just waiting for you unbiased article on Wenger being the second coming.

did i say Wenger is the second coming?
as for what part made me think he wanted Wenger out? The whole article sarcastically mocks Wenger, but probably this but in particular...
"Plenty of us, ungrateful spoiled, and disloyal pariahs that we are, believe that the Emperors’ new clothes fell off years ago, and that Wenger is starting to pong like a 6 month old lump of Camembert left behind the sofa."
in the introduction paragraphs he's basically saying he will disprove the theories that people praise Wenger for. You seriously think this guy doesn't want Wenger out?

@Godleebarnes - How can you say it's not a 'wenger out' article? What a strange thing to say!
