Leno cost us again

Just an awful night really. Probably shouldn't put the blame on Leno as the whole team was crap but he fekked up big time.

If you think that was rightly taken down then you really are as thick as I thought.

Only one clown on this board. How many times has Leno saved points for us? Unfair to single him out. He has been consistent. Others have let us down tonight.

Yes there were plenty of awful performances and we didn’t deserve to qualify but Leno still made an error which proved to be decisive. He cost us

No it was Sokratis and Luiz and the rest of the defence who held a terrible line that allowed their player in to score. In fact there were 2 phases after Leno put it out so don’t understand how are you solely blaming Leno?!.

Leno's been making mistakes through out the season. He lacks command of the box and doesn't make good decisions. Thats why his distribution is so woeful. Needs coaching and confidence behind a settled CB pairing. This season was always going to be one of assessing players after we fired Emery. I think Arteta has been a bit unfair to the likes of Martinez. Lets give him a shot and see where we are.

He’s also saved us many times. Still don’t see how their goal was his fault tho. We actually defended the initial corner and then defended badly.

One thing doesn't make up for the other though. Leno's strengths are sweeping behind the CBs and shot stopping. And he has been great at that. I just want a keeper who can do both reasonably well. Martinez could be that, he might not be, we won't know until we give him a run of games.

Gave them a unnecessary corner and its was plain to see they were probably going to score from it.

He's saved us way more points than he's cost. Notice you've conveniently forgotten the really good save he done to keep us in the game earlier. Blame the whose fault it is. We created hardly anything all night, so the man to blame is the man whose job in particular, that is, if you are going to blame any single player.

It was Ozil GAZING as he came from behind him. Though tbf so was EVERYONE else. Not like he powered into the box, just casually jogged and they all missed him. I mean how the feck do you not notice a 6ft 6 black man striding through a sea of pale faces, On a bright green pitch, I dunno
