Morning troops.
There's just something about Neil Lennon and knockout games that deflate you.
I've lost count the amount of times he tries to be smart in games like last night and it coming back to bite us on the erse. Listen, he's had a lot of praise this season and rightly so but last night was an embarrassing result for us, Scottish football and a damn indictment of our defensive options at the moment.
What i would like to know is how Lennon can't see after 10 minutes last night that his plan wasn't working, Ajer was absolutely useless at right back, ffs, he couldn't even control a simple ball out the air and ended up booked for it.
In the middle only Julien got pass marks but he wasn't great either, he's only looked better due to Jozo next to him. I've defended him in the past but that was unforgiveable last night and it's not the first time he's gave away goals like that, he's done it at least 3 or 4 times. He has that in him and that should be the last we see of him in a Celtic jersey, if he gets a new contract now then quite frankly Lennon doesn't have a clue.
We somehow managed to get back in the game through a penalty, Edouard was awful all night, couldn't trap a bag of cement then paneka's a penalty good feeling for about 4 minutes and then Tom Rogic who was blowing our his @rse after 13 minutes last night, well, only he knows what he was trying to do. Taylor and McGregor both so far up the pitch as well, total naivety and a total carbon copy of how the Cluj game panned out.
We missed Ntcham last night, we probably missed Christie for his press at least and Frimpong/El Hammed were a massive loss down the right hand side. Forrest as usual would have been better sitting up next to me.
Anyway, i'm over it now, it's a sore one but it's not the end of the world, we have a great chance of another treble so Sunday is now a massive game to get the feel good factor back.

As hard a draw as it was possible to get and away from home in the second leg
Still a cracker of a tie though.

Fair question.
Not sure if that is a passive aggressive chat up line or a cry for help.
