Nah Liverpool are on another level
But a fantastic performance from us tonight
Special mention to Billy gilmour who is now Officially the second coming of christ and now he should get a number of games with injuries
Let's hope we can continue this type of performance in the league

Bossed by a tiny 18 year old boy. Think any complaints Liverpool fans have about being called best of a bad bunch this year are officially dead

Says something about their team and ours when you don't feel confident at 2-0.

Liverpool were off form and we raised our game. Anyone else feel let down by Chelsea this season? I feel disappointment that the team pick and choose when to raise its game. Had we played Southampton tonight would we have produced that performance ? That is my problem with this side.

Let-down by Chelsea this season?
Nope, I'm absolutely enjoying every minute of the see-saw and journey.
Par for the course when you've still got the likes of Azpi, Willian, Rudi, Barkley etc as our senior experienced players, they are bound to disappoint.
Feels marvellous to have a manager showing absolute belief in young players that have long overdue deserved their shot at the top, backing them through thick and thin (rather than throwing them under the bus).
Reaped the rewards of trusting in them (and will continue to in future) with their positive strong performances.
Some will claim young players given a chance to shine was a by-product of the transfer ban, that's a misguided dof view if you really delve into it. Way too simplistic to narrow it solely down to that circumstance.
Had we played Southampton tonight would we have produced that performance ?
Beat Southampton convincingly, when we had the likes of Tammy, Callum, Mount, Pulisic and Kante available...you know, the key players fit and in-form. Well I say fit, two of them were only half-fit (if even that) coming back from seriously damaging injuries.
Injuries and/or loss of form (due to fatigue) to that many key players in any team all at once, is going to sting.
We had got by without Kante earlier on in the season, which was astonishing at the time (testament to Frank impressive management).
Frank is doing his absolute most to try and keep every squad member on their toes thus extracting the best out of the squad at his disposal.
Not afraid to drop or dispose any one (see Kepa, Luiz, Willian, Jorginho etc) regardless of their status.
More often than not, judgement has been spot on.
Making serious headway still in the infancy of his managerial career and I repeat doing a stonking job, all things considered.
