I’ve been supporting Spurs since the early seventies, I was there the day we got relegated but this current situation feels worse. Back then the team gave everything but just weren’t good enough but the crowd recognised this and the next season we were promoted which led to the great team of the early eighties. Fast forward to the present and we have a totally unbalanced squad, three keepers who are all hopeless, a bunch of the slowest defenders possible, none of who can defend, virtually no creativity or fight in midfield and our only decent players all out long term. And finally a manager who if you searched the whole of the football world you wouldn’t find anyone less suited to manage our club. Sorry for this lengthy rant but I’m just feeling really sad at our rapid decline. COYS.

Like the team that got relegated in the 1970s, this squad is also not good enough. To many Championship quality players in the squad now.

It’s an average team, but made even more average when you have your 2 best players and only attackers missing. I said as soon as Son was injured, that’s our season over. Could see a mile off we were going to struggle with Ali, Bergwijn and Lucas up top. None of them are strikers and they never will be. I struggle to see us winning a single game without Son/Kane, we are that poor right now.

Agree Don, season ended when Son got injured. Having Son, Kane and Sissoko out for three/four months all at the same time meant the season ended very, very early. May sneak the odd win, but almost certain home defeats to West Ham, Arsenal, United and Leicester on the horizon.
Move on to next year now. Looks like I will banned from the ground now anyway, as an over 70 supporter.

I thought you had a squad of experienced internationals and it was the previous managers fault for not getting the best out of them. Now the players are championship standard . Talk about moving goalposts to avoid admitting you got it wrong

Spurs would be best just getting an American football team and forget about the premiership
Obviously away games will be a trek.....

Don, Apparently us over 70s are getting banned from football because of the Corona Virus.
