Quite a few articles on here regarding overhauling the squad. According to one poster in particular, the previous manager had a “team of internationals" to work with and should have done better with the resources he had at his disposal. Now Jose is flopping he wants a clear out bar a handful of players. Fickleness and hypocrisy at its finest.
The above aside, I’m truly worried about the state our our team. It needs investment of hundreds of millions which simply won’t happen. Things are about to get a lot worst before they get better. I wish ENIC will just hold their hands up and say we’ve taken the club as far as we can. Time to sell up. Having said this, what can a new owner do with FFP in play. Never felt so low as a Spurs fan as I can’t see end to this miserable period.

Blackburn got relegated like 4 years on from winning the Prem having lost their talisman and most of their best players. Slightly different to our current predicament.
Their owners invested their steel money initially - hence they won the Prem in the first place.

I do think Spurs fans are over reacting. I am not a Jose fan and think it was a bad appointment but you are doing a bit worse than previous seasons no more. 7th is hardly the Armageddon that your fans are describing.

I see Mourinho's now on about needing more players for a more balanced squad. Only 2 days ago he was saying there'd be no summer overhaul.
That's it Jose, keep changing your story, keep shifting attention away from your own deficiencies so when you get sacked your reputation is still just about intact enough that you can get another overpaid gig after you burn through your severance cheque

totally agree. People really underestimate what a decent coach brings to a team. Especially a team that made Champions league final and spent 160m+ on new players.

We do need a clear out. What I will say about Jose compared to Poch is that at least you can see him making a bigger fuss about needing an overhaul and putting pressure on Levy to do it with his comments than Poch would. Poch was too nice and his comments were more subtle hints that we needed change than anything. Jose won't be afraid to make the message clear.
