Ceballos..over-rated

My god he is awful. How.many touches does he need before he releases a.pass.

Has never looked as if hes a step ahead of the game nor can he ever spot a pass.

Side ways sideways after taking 20 touches.

The biggest culprit to slowing our game down.
Even tracking back and going up against the opposition in a tackle, slow amd weak.

Premier league is way to fast for him.

Needs to be sent back to la liga where they have all the time.in the world.

Get rid!

Thought he started well earlier in the season, but lost his way. Technically, he's a good player, and contrary to what many have said here, he can spot a good pass. Bit too slow in his execution though which may be down to confidence and our lack of movement in attack. I'd keep him if we got a good deal from Real. He's far from the worst problem in our team.

We'd have to spend £25m-£30m in order to keep him which I don't think is worth it, as there are midfield players who are better suited to us for that sort of price.

He's a good player, but if we want to get back into the Champions League spots next season, I'd rather not spend a significant chunk of our transfer budget on him.

I think people are being overly harsh on him to me he's the only one in the middle of the park who looks to move the ball on quickly and most of the time he is looking forward. Should he be kept that depends on how much it costs. Right at this moment if it's a choice between moving him on or Guendouzi for example I would keep Ceballos.

I thought he played well today and was one of our better performers. Constantly looking for the ball and starting off attacks playing in that slightly deeper role, he was tidy. It would have been fairer to write this article on Xhaka who’s passing was all over the place (not in a good way), or Özil again who was largely anonymous.

Thought he was decent, especially considering the lack of movement or desire to receive the ball from the front 4.

The article is a bit odd. He held the midfield together today. Without him can't imagine we would have got out of our own half. Xhaka was diabolical. I wonder how many incompletions he had in the game incl one that should have cost us a goal. We are too slow back to front. Starts with Leno's indecision to Xhaka to Ozil.

Ceballos was poor in the first half but so was everyone, he was much improved in the second half and was significantly better than Xhaka that's for sure.

Was at the game, no one thought Ceballos was poor, worked hard but the lack of runners in behind meant that he couldn’t feed. Pepe was woeful, should be venting your annoyance on him.

The problem with Pepe is the same issue we've had with all our attackers.

The ball is too slow in transitions from back to front. As soon as Pepe or Auba or anyone receives the ball the opposition has at least two defenders to stop him.

How many through balls have we had the whole season? The CM is pedestrian. Lack physically and cannot dictate tempo. Too slow in body and mind!

You must be new to the Arsenal board. Not allowed to criticise Ozil here. They don't like it, Ozil has to play and be sh!t and fans have to just accept that and not talk about him unless he does something good. Which you're then supposed to blow out of all proportion and begin hailing him sublime again

Xhaka was on a mad one. Got himself a little too psyched up before the game and just kept hitting the ball too hard. Either that or he was fine and everyone else wasn't in the same, power passing mindset so kept getting caught out by it.

People saying Ceballos is crap basically just spend too much of the game with their eyes pinned on Ozil, waiting for something they can rave about. They only see the mistakes of any fellow MF, meaning one needs a damn near flawless performance to get any credit at all. Other day he played a great game, got a standing ovation from attending fans. But here, the chat was about Ozil being the hero. Settling Ceballos into the No 10. slot and losing the dead weight that's Ozil, is our best way forward but with a fan base mentality like ours, it's no wonder it isn't being done. Been a feckin no brainer for the last month or so. But the Ozil fanboys just keep the waste of space in the team. Selling it down the river in the process.
