Bergwijn Out Tomorrow

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/steven-bergwijn-injury-rb-leipzig-vs-tottenham-champions-league-a4382061.html

Doesn't really matter but.... ugghhh.... Expecting another turgid uninspired performance/ loss.

Dunno if bad luck has anything to do with injuries but if you overplay players coz we have no alternatives/ squad depth this kinda shlt happens.... same with Kane

This is genuinely the worst season I can ever remember supporting Spurs.

With any luck I've jinxed it so we win tomorrow and go on to do something in the CL.

Look at it like this: the worse Spurs do, the sooner Mourinho leaves. Short-term pain for long-term gain.

Could see Jose Playing the following

***Toby***Sanchez***Verts***
***Aurier*****Dier**Winks******Davies***
*******Lamela***Dele****GLC****

Full Bus Park mode for 80 mins & maybe he'll let the handbreak off if we keep it tight till then

Jose rested players yesterday but has player Bergwijn every game since he signedhe limped off against Norwich as well
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd say that says a lot about where Bergwijn is in the pecking order. If we are taking off or resting players to keep some energy in their legs for the games to come then Lucas & GLC would be the ones I want in the best condition ahead of Bergwijn. In other words I'd be way more peeved if either of those 2 had limped off having played every minute. Makes sense to me but a shame Bergjwin is now a doubt. It would be like LFC losing Firmino and Mane and then losing Origi as well.

“ More bad luck for Spurs as Steven Bergwijn has suffered a significant sprain to his left ankle and will now undergo an extended period of rehabilitation.”

Cant wait to see aurier playing as a winger to avoid having to play Sessegnon now Bergwijn is injured

I think the rest of the season will consist of mainly scrounging for draws, and maybe the odd win with an increased chance when Kane returns. Jose will make it to next season at least.
