Have JA606 launched an appeal to users to help fund emergency services during the current problems? I appreciate that many people will already be helping in various ways even though they are laid off/furloughed.
If you could start a fund and let us users know how to contribute, even if we can only afford to donate £1 , that would be a valuable contribution to the NHS and something that this website and its users could be proud of.
A regular update of funds raised would be (hopefully) cheering.

I’d prefer the fund to go to Furlough FC of Merseyside
I’ve heard they are on their knees

I would encourage people to make charitable contributions to any charities they see fit if they have means to do so. Many charities are struggling due to limited fund raising activities. I'm happy for that to be the personal choice of those on ja606. Later in the year it is likely a large portion of ja606 Scottish posters will be raising money for a Sick Childrens hospital or hospice. People are welcome to donate to that when it takes place.

Can anybody give any SERIOUS guidance on where to go or who to contact to provide help. Local council shut! Wrong time to be bothering emergency services by phone. Advice has been to stay away from hospitals etc unless for emergecies. There must be many people like myself who have been laid off work and getting frustrated at home feeling useless because they can't find a way to help.
