So after seeing many sharticles asking how much football players are contributing towards the Coronavirus fight, why don't we move toward an actual valid sharticle about how the actual wealthiest in the UK are contributing toward the Coronavirus fight?
Forget the middle men (IE football players).
Actual top 10 billionaires living in the UK, are they helping? Anyone got any facts or links proving so or proving they aren't? Or should they even be contributing?

I have stated my case

Your ‘case’ is as flawed as the current minimum wage. The cost of living is not the same nationwide, the minimum wage is, it can’t be a set single value.

I believe philanthropy is far bigger in the US

It has been demonstrated in several studies that the concept of philanthropic giving doesn’t translate to practice.
The people who give the highest proportions of their disposable incomes to charitable causes are society’s poorest, followed by the middle classes.

Did you know that if you had £1bn (1000 x 1m) and you spent £10,000 EVERY DAY, it would take you 274 years to spend it all

The magnitude of difference between billion and million can be illustrated with this example of the time scale: A million seconds is 12 days. A billion seconds is 31 years. A trillion seconds is 31,688 years.
