No doubt we’re in extremely difficult times, but I always try and find some way to stay positive and happy in any situation.
What have you done during lock down that you wouldn’t of done if this awful virus hadn’t taken over our planet?

Hi Don, yes very much so, all my life really!
Though don't bet much these days just follow the
sport, Flat is my great love because of the continuation
of the breeding, the pedigrees, which absorb me.
The jumps I take an interest in but of course there is
no breeding from most of them cos they're geldings,
but I do love Cheltenham festival.

I prefer the flat for form study evaluation etc though wouldn’t be the biggest gambler in the world, more the interest, though for personal reasons the jumps is my first love, my best mate was a half decent jump jockey and big Leeds fan,

"Best Mate" great Gold Cup horse, my biggest betting
coup was way back in 1984 when I backed ante post
El Gran Senor through the winter for the 2000 Guineas, told everyone I was backing it then when it won everyone said 'why didn't you tell us you were backing it!'
These days I can tell you the pedigree of for example Nijinsky but haven't got a clue what will win the 2 30 tomorrow...you've probably got a better idea than me.

It’s a great sport NJS even when you take away the betting aspect, though as you say when a bet comes off There’s no better feeling,
My claim to fame in racing is that I used to open the batting for the Dickinsons cricket team lol,
Stay safe
