I'm of the view that the current football season must be played to a finish whenever that allows. If DUFC were to be promoted on the current league standings that would not be right.
It would be slightly different if it was mathematically impossible for DUFC to be caught. However we could be caught and as that is an option, integrity comes in. I have no issue with prize money being dished out just now but when the football restarts and the season is finished, prize money adjustments can be made to suit the correct placings.
For fans to say that teams will require a pre-season, I don't agree. All teams will be in effect at the same point fitness-wise. When we had the snow in 2010 we played three games in a week, was it? Eight games to go within three weeks? Might just see a team gain a bit of momentum in the run-in.
For the following season restrict the number of times you play each other in the league. Do away with the group stages of the League Cup, go straight to a knock-out format.
As for Transfer Windows, surely they must be consigned to history. Get back to how transfers were carried out before, signings throughout the season if your club funds allow and have Transfer Deadline Day again.

Can’t dish out prize money until final placings are done and the league declared over.
They’ve already dished out prize money based on potential lowest place standings.

Just get Google or Amazon to decide with one of their algorithms.
They run everything else, why not our league directly?

Syrely prize money comes from the tv companies and surely they must be wanting a refund at this point.
No wonder uefa are keeking it

No it doesn’t.
Tv money is separate.

Heres a scenario. What if the teams that are in the league placings just now but are not in them once the season is completed?
So it's fair for them to get the prize money now even although they might not be the winners? That's why in my opening post I said the monies could be re-adjusted once the final outcome was known.
If money elsewhere was to be found to see the clubs through this I would go for that but it seems its prize money or zilch.

Too complicated and a nightmare to get money back from clubs once its been spent.
Only possible option is declare the positions as they are and pay put or wait and see what happens.

I'd rather it was played to a finish

Heard a very good comment today. When Dundee United played Barcelona home and away in the 80s were this Coronavirus around the games would have been awarded as victories to Barcelona.........
As we all know that was not in fact what happened, the reality was the Cornershop team beat them both times.
If we go down the route of assumptions they might be right but 100% of the time I don't think so. That is why the season must be played to a finish when allowed.
If The Rangers hadn't started at the bottom of the leagues when they were formed you could say the game was up. If we go down the road of saying the leagues are finished at this point in time, we can all say the leagues in the future are finished at this point.

So DUFC might be getting the Dundee derbies again next season. I can understand the reasoning by Hearts going to court.
How DUFC could be down in the Championship again is down to that negative manager we have. We could have been out of sight but nope he decided to be cautious and try to grind out the results with his anti-football.
On another note I had to have a chuckle at this comment on another board. All United squad tested and all results came back negative. Typical Neilson😂😂.
