Interesting article on Edโs financial management and strategy at United.
The TL:DR version - Woodward who was mocked for focusing so much on revenue and sponsorship that it didnโt matter what happened on the pitch has paid off now literally nothingโs happening on the pitch

‘United’ s Ultras’ ?!? Is that another name for The Sun Reporters, cos I’m pretty sure they graffitied his house But anyway, Utd were well off before Ed. He’s done a fantastic job that side picking the mantle from Kenyon and Gil.
But sorry, there will be no revising off history here.
The mans been found wanting in the transfer game.

The Glazers have taken over a billion out of the club, how much better off would we be without them and their employees?

Nope!
They've taken over 1bn out of the club on leveraging their debt and paying themselves off.

That was in 2015, so the figures will be much higher now.

It's crazy to see that United fans on here still don't understand how much the Glazers have facked them over with that leveraged buyout. Crazy such a move is even legal ffs

Football seems to be the only business you're not allowed to make money from. Or at least without fans complaining.
