You know the drill

On the morning of April 14th, the crew of the RMS Titanic was expecting to run a lifeboat drill, a common practice among ocean liners. It was obviously important for the crew to prepare themselves and the passengers for what they hoped would be an emergency situation they’d never encounter.

That morning however, the lifeboat drill was inexplicably canceled. The decision to cancel the lifeboat drill came from Captain Smith himself, and to date it’s still not known exactly why he decided to call off the lifeboat drill. There had been reports of ice in the water throughout the area, with other ships having passed on warnings. possible reasons mentioned by crew members at the U.S. Senate Inquiry for the cancellation are as follows, please vote for your likeliest reason:

5 Stars - Strong wind
4 Stars - Meals would not be ready for passengers
3 Stars - Church Service
2 Stars - Crew needed elsewhere
1 Stars - All or some of the reasons above, the drill would’ve been rescheduled

They didn’t show that in the 1997 movie Titanic 😮

I think it should turn around and head back. Wouldn't want to mess with the ice ahead.
