Afternoon chaps, hope you're all doing well. Was on the toilet earlier and started thinking about games that don't get mentioned a lot, for whatever reason. Think their was a period where our levels of performance were so high we just took it as a normal day at the office. Anyway here are a few games that i thought should get a mention...
Tottenham 2-0 Man United 31/1/18
Brilliant game. Eriksen's goal after 10 seconds was exceptional. One of Trippiers best games in a Spurs shirt, and apart from a chance in the first half for United we never looked like conceding. A proper peak Poch display.
Real Madrid 1-1 Tottenham 17/10/17
One of the games where i felt afterwards we could mix it with the big boys. Going to Madrid and matching them pretty well. I think Madrids record at home in group games was something like 20 wins from 21 games. People would point to the home game but this result was equally as important.
Tottenham 1-0 Inter Milan 8/11/18
Showed some serious bottle to pull this one out the bag. Remember it being quite a nervy game, where 1 chance felt like all we needed. Funnily enough Eriksen getting the winner against his new employers. This was a typical game that we easily could've thrown away, one of the last few games before our spiral into complete and utter mediocrity.
Feel free to add anymore
Memorable games

2-1 away to Fulham. Kane was out. N'Koudou came on set Winks up for last minute winner. Horrible game but at the time the squad were depleted and we were playing awful but grinding some results out.

I was at that game craven cottage. Behind the goal going mental when Winksy scored the winner. Like you say, horrendous game but very important win.

Good article Bennyville. I have seen lots of memorable games, far to many to list. Mostly from back in the day.
Recent three though are
City v Spurs 0-1, when Crouchie scored the winner to qualify Spurs for CL
Arsenal v Spurs 2-3, coming back from 2-0 down, Kaboul scoring the winner
Ajax v Spurs 2-3, Moura with his last minute winner, that match takes some beating.

Slightly cheats but two games back to back (I think).
Just lost FA Cup Semi v Portsmouth - then went and beat Arsenal (2-1 and that Rose goal) and Chelsea (2-1).
I think what really stood out for me across those two games was that Spurs just didn’t do that - back up one impressive victory straight after another. Even more so when the pressure is on.
Obviously, the 0-1 city game was the cherry on top, but these two games were so, so, important and impressive.

All top games, probably should’ve made it clearer that I meant games that get forgotten about but least it’s something to talk about
